Worship Team Training 2019 Partnership

We are excited that The Worship Foundation is partnering with the Diocese of Gloucester and a number of local churches in the region to make Worship Team Training accessible to local churches in Gloucestershire.

Worship Team Training 2019: Dates and Locations

All sessions start at 9.30am with coffee and finish at 1pm

Worship Team Training 2019: Content

The training will be for worship leaders, worship teams and technical teams, focussing on training that is accessible and relevant to those in local church contexts, whether you are at the start of your journey, or looking for new inspiration.

Over the course of the two sessions we will be looking at the Biblical Foundations of worship, worshipping and praying for each other as well as doing some seminars covering:

Worship Leading; Building a Worship Team Culture; Songwriting; Band Dynamics and Vocals; Audio Visual; Finding and Resourcing Songs.

Membership of the Gloucestershire Worship Facebook Group.

Access to The Worship Zone, - a new worship resource website developed in partnership with Kingdom Aps. The website gives access to easy-to-use resources, chord charts, iSingWorship files, a Technical Blog (Dan Bowater) and a Theology Blog (Neil Bennetts).

Neil Bennetts is a worship leader, theologian, songwriter and author of 35 year experience. He was the worship pastor of Trinity Cheltenham for 20 years, and pioneered and led New Wine Worship - the worship ministry of New Wine in the UK. He authored a book on worship 'Now To Him' with Simon Ponsonby, and is currently the C.E.O. of The Worship Foundation.

Chloe is a worship leader and songwriter from Cheltenham, and currently serves in the worship team at Trinity Cheltenham.

Zarc is a five times Dove award winning music producer and songwriter. He has worked with The World Wide Message Tribe, thebandwithnoname, iSingPOP, V*enna, Shine, tbc, Matt Redman, Martin Smith, Avalon, LZ7, Jump5, and many others. He currently manages and produces music for iSingWorship and it's related projects and serves on the worship team at St Peter's Baptist Church in Worcester.

RHIANNON DAVIES

Worship Leader and violinist Rhiannon comes originally from Wales, and is currently the Creative Pastor at St Andrew’s, Churchdown where she is also serves on the worship team.

JIMMY FLANDERS

Jimmy is a self-employed consultant audio visual and has worked in both small and large venues such as New Wine. He is one of the worship leaders at St Paul's Cheltenham.
